The problem with Panasonic is they offer “sec/iso”, “angle/iso” OR “sec/dB”. 99.9% of RUclipsrs have some obsession / fetish for shutter angle and 180° shutter bla bla bla. They don’t stop talking bout it.

Yep. Using iso is just confusing when you add dual gain sensors and all the different native “iso” for gamma curves etc. just keep to dB and switch between high and low gain.

He did not even ask what kind of drives it's using. From the size and the fact that they are nvme I guess u.2? but we don't know for certain. If it's U.2 it's likely to cost twice as much as an owc thunderblade of the same capacity, but be twice as fast and generate much more noise (the thunderblade generates none. If the format is m.2 I will not understand why is so big, but it could be that they are using an adapter to make the ssd easy to replace.

The Kelvin Hall really is a very green studio - it produces very little waste and uses hardly any energy. Mainly because it doesn't actually make much in the way of actual TV shows. I don't think that was mentioned in the talk 🤔

All the audio from the guests wearing Countryman mics is terrible. Bass heavy with low mid range.

For comprehensive end-to-end, Blackmagic needs to embrace NDI, SRT and HLS. I don't know why they stoically resist any of these. RTMP is a legacy of old, which curiously they appear wedded to.
